At DesignInc Perth we aim to make a positive and creative contribution to the built environment, enhance design through engineering and technology, have fun, and to be proud of our work.
The DesignInc Perth studio focuses on transport, defence, education, health, and commercial projects. Our studio values the importance of design narrative in architecture and the importance of creative industries in contemporary culture.
We acknowledge the importance of sustainability and the responsibility we carry within our profession to champion sustainable initiatives and environmentally honest project outcomes. We recognise the contribution of Indigenous culture to the Australian identity and respect the strength and resilience of Aboriginal people.
Our Reflect RAP outlines how we will engage with Traditional Custodians on projects, allowing appropriate space for truth-telling, acknowledgement, and celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in the Built Environment.
Our Perth studio is on Wajuk land.

Celebrating 21 Years Together
Born from three Australian architecture and design practices coming together in 2000, DesignInc is a powerful union of design talent, professional expertise, and multidisciplinary skills.
The Perth studio is led by Nic MacCormac, who has over 23 years in the business of architecture. Nic understands the importance of perspective when it comes to the scale of practice, and brings operational snippets from his experience in different practices locally, nationally and internationally. Although we openly acknowledge that we are the younger sibling in the DesignInc family, we have experienced success and growth under Nic’s leadership, upon which we continue to build. We have cultivated strong working relationships with the other DesignInc studios, a sense of family has been achieved through collaboration, sharing knowledge and shared experience.
