Holy Family Catholic School Administration Building

DesignInc has a long-standing relationship with Holy Family Catholic School at Parafield. The Administration Building completes a 10-year development journey and serves as the new ‘front door’ to the school. The design of the facility allows for a variety of interfaces to occur in the space—parents and public with the school, students with teachers, and teachers with administrative staff.

The central focus of the building is the shared staff common that encourages interaction and dialogue between staff and provides a connection to the outside. Activity-based working spaces provide staff with the flexibility of a choice of settings with which to conduct their daily tasks. The implementation of this flexible working strategy creates a staff area that is open plan with smaller zones provided for private meetings or team activities. This area is highly accessible by students where interaction with staff is encouraged
