DesignInc Brisbane is committed to design and building development that minimises our environmental impact. We are pleased to introduce our sustainability action plan, a roadmap for responsible practices and positive change.
At DesignInc Brisbane, our goal is to create buildings and places that people enjoy and feel good in. By consciously developing environments and spaces that conserve, harvest, and renew natural resources and allow for meaningful connections to nature we can achieve this.
To move from aspiration to actual and to deliberately track our growth, our SAP defines our sustainability targets, both for our practice and our projects. These are measurable targets that we use to hold us accountable for our sustainability efforts.
We believe that tackling climate change can only be truly achieved through shared vision and effort. By working together and continually encouraging both innovation and incremental improvement, we can reduce climate impact on the environment. We realise many design practices and partners in the wider construction industry are considering development of Sustainability Action Plans but may not have managed to do so, perhaps due to constraints of time and resources. We invite anyone who is interested to reach out to us. We are always happy to share what we have learnt.
We aim, every day, to leave our environment a better place for our efforts. We are always happy to share what we have learned along the way, and to learn further from others.
DesignInc is proud to announce that we have achieved dual Climate Active certification, which certifies both our Services and Organisation. Currently, DesignInc is the only architecture practice in Australia that holds Climate Active certification for Service.
