This sustainable and inspiring fit-out transforms the former government printworks building into a state-of-the-art, centre of excellence dedicated to advancing the teaching profession.
The fit-out respects the proportions and features of the original structure, celebrating the building’s heritage and culture while introducing innovative learning and teaching spaces that reflect the range of settings that teachers encounter in contemporary education.
The design solution provides educators with opportunities to experience contemporary learning environments as a learner. Playful ideas invite experimentation with diverse group and presentation arrangements, ‘educating the educator’ on how to manipulate space for different learning modes.
