Stephen Webb Transitions to Strategic Design Advisor Role
After more than 25 years with DesignInc, Stephen Webb will step down from his role as Director this July, transitioning to a consultative role providing strategic design advice to the practice.
Stephen will remain a part of the DesignInc community, continuing to support key projects and teams through design consultancy, peer review, mentoring and targeted strategic input.
He has played a significant role in shaping the design culture and output of the Melbourne studio. As Design Director, he has guided the design of significant Melbourne buildings across many sectors, including Council House 2, Bio21 Institute and Maribyrnong Civic Precinct.
His work has been defined by a commitment to integrated, biophilic design that positions buildings as extensions of the natural environment and prioritising sustainability, wellbeing and connection to place.
Looking ahead, DesignInc Melbourne remains strongly positioned, with a future-focused director group and established capability across the health, defence, education and community sectors.
