QC on Angus is a cafe within the Commonwealth Law Courts Building on Angas Street. It is orientated towards Victoria Square, the central square of the Adelaide CBD.

Due to its location, and being the only food outlet within the Law Courts, the cafe had to have a contemporary feel that was open and welcoming to a wide variety of people. A variety of interior materials were selected for their interesting textures and finishes.

The architectural expression of the interior largely came about from the ‘QC’ logo, which DesignInc designed for the client. The egg shaped motif from the logo was used as a graphic image on the white bulkhead above the counter, which in-turn complimented the large pendant light fitting of a similar form.
