DesignInc’s involvement with Prince of Wales Hospital Project includes the appointment, as Base Building Architect, to design and document the Ambulatory Care and Services Centre (ACSC) and now the 3-storey Private Hospital. The ACSC unifies the entire hospital precinct and houses complex and sophisticated facilities such as, operating theatres, diagnostic services, surgery and specialist consulting areas.
DesignInc’s responsibility included designing the building structure and fabric comprising structural frame, lift cores, stairs, facade elements, roofing cladding & plantrooms as well as co-ordination of services through the entire building.
The ACSC and private hospital are a successful integration into the existing Hospital Master Plan and demonstrate the future work model for large scale fast-track projects.
