Holy Family is a low fee Catholic primary school in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. It has 830 students housed primarily in relocatable classrooms. These were poorly arranged on a site that also included an under utilized multipurpose Parish Centre.

DesignInc’s task was to provide a new multipurpose hall, administration, library and several specialist learning areas. We were also requested to create a new and vibrant image for the school.

In order to minimise space loss during construction, a low cost building was designed that could be built in 3 stages to eventually accommodate all of the brief requirements. This then allowed the Multi-purpose Parish Centre to be recycled into new library facilities.
