The Goldfields Arts Centre is the most important stand alone building in Kalgoorlie. Its aesthetic imagery responds to its important civic function, the hot arid climate, the expansiveness and colouring of the Goldfields landscape and the clients specific vision for a building of strength, performance and stability.
The building is essentially ‘four buildings in one’ bringing together a:
• 700 seat Theatre complete with Orchestra pit and Fly Tower
• Regional Art Gallery with an A class accreditation
• Function/Conference Centre
