Conrad Jupiter is an established resort hotel in the heart of Australia’s most popular tourist area. Although originally conceived as a resort hotel Conrad Jupiter decided to capture some of the growing convention market, and decided to transfer several floors of the hotel into the type of accommodation more suited to the corporate market.

Part of the renewal involved the creation of a special executive floor comprising check-in, executive lounge and meeting rooms, while in other floors rooms and guest corridors were redesigned to present a more corporate look.

The Executive Lounge is a mix of sleek modernity and luxurious detail aimed at the discerning business traveler. The interior design creates a tactile, multi-sensory responsive ambience within a challenging physical space. The lift Lobby previously clad in vinyl, was given a new dimensional element with up lit split-faced limestone cut panels.

This contrast with the smooth, polished marble flooring throughout the lobby and connecting corridors leading to the Conference Rooms, Lounge and Dining Area. Continuing this sculptural element, walls within the Executive Lounge and library incorporated a unique crafted sawtooth Sapele timber profile. Specially commissioned artwork was extensively used throughout to create a distinctive ambience.
