Architectural services for this 10 level commercial building sited on a prestigious arterial road in Melbourne involved the total refurbishment of a 1960s building. Work included: floor plate extensions; new services and core areas; a new curtain wall façade and finishes throughout, aimed at optimising daylight and thermal performance as well as increasing tenancy space and flexibility.

The ground floor redesign provided a new light filled entrance lobby with quality materials.

The original floor plate of the building was extended outwards on all levels and modification of service core areas together contributed to maximising the usability of office floor space to serve single, dual or multiple tenants. Each level featured new reception lift lobbies.

The innovative design solutions developed to solve the complex problems of readapting an older building resulted in successful completion within budget and strong leasing performance.
