Revised Design Approval for Double Tree Hilton Perth Waterfront

One Step Forward in Delivering the Landmark Design for a Landmark Location

DesignInc are pleased to advise that the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) has accepted the revised design for the proposed development of the new DoubleTree Hilton Perth Waterfront Hotel. Forward building work is being prepared to commence on this landmark site during the 3rd quarter 2015.
Located next to the Lucky Shag Waterfront Bar and in front of the Bell Tower on the bank of the Swan River, the 229 rooms hotel will bring much needed high quality hotel accommodation to the City of Perth.

From all public spaces and guest rooms, visitors will enjoy panoramic views across the Swan River and the surrounding cityscape in Perth. The high exposure calls for a building that is well designed to contribute to the new Elizabeth Quay skyline in the very near future.

After 9 months of consultation with the MRA’s design review panel and under the strong design leadership of Ian Wu (Associate Director), our hard work has paid off and we are proud of what has been achieved to date.

The construction will incorporate a modular system of construction which we believe will greatly help overcome the limited site access and reduce construction time by a minimum of 30%.

The new Waterfront Hotel will be an unique response  to Swan River and Elizabeth Quay Bell Tower site.
We'd like to thank all the team involved and we shall keep up the great team work. We look forward to delivering this landmark building and together with the other great projects in our office.
