MLC Campus Ground Floor Upgrade utilizes Barisol for new Canopy

 The environmental themes developed for the NAB 50 Miller Street project ( 4 Star Green Star GBCA rating) have been extended to the auditorium area with the theme SPACE.

This theme reflects the exciting new venue which offers a fully equipped stadium style video conferencing facility, with a seating capacity for 200 at a lunch or dinner, and 240 in a theatre style capacity. Adjacent to this auditorium is a new lounge which also extends into the outdoor terrace.

The design is linked together by folding, twisting back-lit Barrisol ceilings that glow in different colours using LED technology. In the outdoor terrace, DesignInc has designed two outdoor pavilions. One is a weather protected shelter for informal meetings and social gatherings, while the other pavilion a fully sheltered server with a BBQ and bar.

The two structures are designed to create a defined outdoor SPACE, as well as an organic extension of the internal space. This truly delivers on a DesignInc philosophy of engaging interiors with exteriors.
