Innova21 wins at the SA Architecture Awards

DesignInc’s University of Adelaide Innova21 project received two honours at the Australian Institute of Architects 2011 SA Architecture awards.
 
Nominated in the Sustainable Architecture category, DesignInc secured the Architecture Award, whilst also receiving a Commendation in the Public Architecture category.

SA Health Partnership reaches financial close on the new Royal Adelaide Hospital

DesignInc is part of the SA Health Partnership (SAHP) consortium, which recently achieved financial close on the new Royal Adelaide Hospital (nRAH) project.
 
It will be South Australia's greenest hospital with numerous environmentally sustainable design initiatives incorporated into the design. Home to new technologies, innovative facilities and state of the art equipment, the new hospital has been designed with patient care at its centre.

The Vortex has Landed

DesignInc’s Gippsland Water Factory Vortex Centre has been recognized in this year’s United Nations Association of Australia World Environment Day Awards.

The project received the Green Building Award out of seven projects submitted and three shortlisted, including Grocon’s carbon neutral Pixel Building.

Graduate architect awarded for 'Cool Idea'

Jason Chambers from DesignInc, has been awarded the winner of BlueScope Steel’s ‘Cool Ideas’ competition.
 
Architects, building designers and specifiers were asked to submit their ‘Cool Idea’ for a thermally efficient workplace in 25 words or less. With 567 entries submitted, Jason’s was chosen as the winner by a panel of industry experts.
