The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne has been named Australia’s best public building at the fourth annual Property Council of Australia Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Awards.
The award was achieved in competition against the Melbourne Convention Centre, District Court of Western Australia and other high profile contenders.
Property Council of Australia CEO Peter Verwer told a gala awards dinner at Star City in Sydney that a public private partnership had delivered a hospital of world standing.
